You went to coach training to become a coach, not a web designer. Let Awakened Sister Studio build you a website that you’ll want to show off.
You want a gorgeous online home without the DIY overwhelm.
Creating a website is a rite of passage for many coaches. Having one lets you share your work with the world and offers a place for clients to book discovery calls, register for your programs, and consume your content (if that’s your jam).
But DIYing a website - even with the amazing website builders out there - can be overwhelming. I mean, you became a coach so that you could transform lives…not troubleshoot tech. Right? And it shows: many DIY coaching websites look like a kid’s art project. Endearing, perhaps, but far from professional.
A lot goes into building a website that (1) exudes professionalism without looking sterile, (2) speaks to your ideal clients, (3) entices visitors to take the actions you want them to take, and (4) shows up in Google’s search results.
You can absolutely create a gorgeous, Google-ranking website by going the DIY route, and I encourage you to do so if you’re so inclined (hell, you may even discover that you LOVE it!).
But if you’re time-constrained, not tech or design-savvy, and are dreading the thought of acquiring yet another skillset, you can save yourself loads of headaches AND get a website that actually reflects who you are and what you value by hiring a pro like me.
Hey! I’m Kristi, and I’m a coach who LOVES building websites.
Yep, I’m a Martha Beck-certified Wayfinder Life Coach (and Wayfinder Master Coach-in-training). Wayfinding’s my first love, but web design’s a close second.
While most coaches I know are not the slightest bit fond of troubleshooting tech or playing around with code to create cool AF designs, yours truly is.
I’d been building my own self-hosted Wordpress websites - and loving it! - for a decade when a designer (whose designs make me swoon!) encouraged me to become a professional Squarespace designer. And so, I enrolled in and got certified by truly the best Squarespace design and coding course out there.
My design style leans towards earthy with black and white “sprinkles”. Some designs are playful and bold (see kristiamdahl.com) while others are calm with an understated elegance (like my Monique template), and yet others are, well, hard to define (like Awakened Sister!). And though I’m not a maximalist, know that I’d NEVER turn down a retro-vibed loud AF project…
As a Wayfinder Coach, my ethos is to help my clients live in integrity with their true natures, and I bake this into my website builds. As a coach, YOU ARE THE BRAND, and my mission is to ensure that your unique brilliance - your true nature - oozes from your online home. That’s how I roll. You game?!
My websites are built on:
-
As a Martha Beck-trained and certified Wayfinder life coach (and as a years-long meditator), I’m all about keeping both of our nervous systems regulated. Integrating simplicity in my designs, tutorials, and client content-generating processes is key to eliminating overwhelm…for both of us!
-
Integrity is everything to me, and I will bend over backwards to honor my commitments, deadlines, and values. I will never, ever use any high-pressure sales tactics with you, and I won’t include these elements in my designs, either. The result is a website you’ll feel great about sharing.
-
Your website will come with a library of short videos so that you can easily update it. I use intentional design and avoid unnecessary coding so that your site won’t break if you make changes. And my sites are built using Squarespace, which is insanely easy to navigate.
