You want a show-stopping website…without the DIY overwhelm or a 5-figure price tag.

If you’re a coach, healer, or other change-maker, having a website lets you share your work with the world and offers a place for clients to book calls, register for your programs, and consume your content.

But DIYing a website - even with the amazing website builders out there - can be overwhelming. I mean, you trained to transform lives…not troubleshoot tech, right? And it shows: many DIY websites look like a kid’s art project. Endearing, perhaps, but far from professional.

A lot goes into building a website that:

  1. Exudes professionalism without looking sterile,

  2. Speaks to your ideal clients,

  3. Entices them to take a desired action, and

  4. Shows up in Google’s search results.

You can absolutely create a gorgeous, Google-ranking website by going the DIY route, so if that’s your jam, by all means go for it!

But if you’re time-constrained, not tech or design-savvy, and dread the thought of acquiring yet another skillset, you can save yourself loads of headaches AND get a website that captures your unique brilliance (without a 5-figure price tag) by getting a One Week Website designed by Kristi Amdahl at Awakened Sister Studio.

Hello, beautiful! I’m Kristi, a coach who builds unique websites for kind humans.

It’s true! I’m a Martha Beck-certified Wayfinder Life Coach and Master Coach-in-training. Wayfinding’s my first love, but web design’s a close second.

While most coaches I know are not the slightest bit fond of troubleshooting tech or playing around with code to create cool AF designs, yours truly is.

I’d been building my own self-hosted Wordpress websites - and loving it! - for a decade when my designer crush encouraged me to become a professional Squarespace designer. And so, I ditched Wordpress and graduated from the best Squarespace program in existance. #notbiased

My design style leans towards playful and bold, with a smattering of black and white “sprinkles”. I equally love earthy (check out kristiamdahl.com) and retro, so if those are vibes you dig, I just might be your girl.

As a Wayfinder Coach, my ethos is to help my clients live in integrity with their true natures, and I bake this into my website builds. As a coach, healer, or change-maker, YOU ARE THE BRAND, and my mission is to ensure that your unique brilliance - your true nature - radiates from your online home. That’s how I roll. You game?!

Some things you should know about…

  • My style is a little bit quirky, a little bit retro, and a quite a bit playful. I LOVE chunky fonts, aesthetics that borrow from the ‘50s - ‘80s, and random details that make for memorable websites.

Of course this doesn’t mean that every site I build will include all of these elements - for example, the demo sites I’ve included on my One Week Websites page are a bit more reserved - but I have a lot of fun playing around and mixing things up! So if you don’t jive with my aesthetic but would like to explore working with me anyway, awesome!

  • Integrity is everything to me, and I will bend over backwards to honor my commitments, deadlines, and values. I will never, ever use any high-pressure sales tactics with you, and I won’t include these elements in my designs, either.

The result is a website you’ll feel great about sharing and an experience that feels good (and not at all manipulative).

  • A LOT goes into a website project for both the client and the designer, and my process is built around keeping both of our nervous systems regulated.

Post-hand-over, along with your sparkly new website comes a library of short videos so that you can easily update it whenever you feel the inkling to do so.

I use intentional design, avoid unnecessary coding, and sparingly use plugins coded by Squarespace experts so that your site won’t break if you make changes.
